In this episode, Casey Gisclair and Coach Brian Callais catch up with Coach Damien St. Pierre—boys and girls basketball coach at Golden Meadow Middle, president of South Lafourche Biddy Basketball, and director of the South Lafourche Flash program. Damien gives us the rundown on a jam-packed summer of hoops, from the Flash girls tipping off their season at Port Allen to the steady growth of youth basketball across Lafourche Parish.

 

We also shout out the Vanderbilt Catholic Terriers and other local high school baseball and softball teams chasing postseason glory. Plus, Damien reflects on the foundation laid by local legends and how impactful programs like Flash and Biddy Basketball are in keeping hundreds of kids active, engaged, and ready for the next level.
